Comparing Lara Croft with Jade (mortal kombat)

Lara Croft:

She represents nothing other than female gamers who live in an unrealistic world (mentally), some would call it a cyber world. She doesn't really represent most woman because I've done some research and i've noticed that majoritty of women disagree with how her character is formed and how she is dressed. Most women believe that she is just their to please male gamers because of her attractive body. I've also noticed that some women have had confidence problems because of the game.

Lara Croft is represented as the 'Ultimate' woman is controlling, powerful and destructive. She seems flawless and quite frankly untouchable. Her clothing in the game also shows me that she is a woman of desire and very sexual. She is wearing little to nothing which would give many gamers the same idea. She is represented as the adventurous, exciting and animalistic character which most male gamers would be engaged by and most female gamers might not.

Lara Croft challenges stereotypes of woman in more than one way or another. She isn't your average housewife who cooks cleans and looks after the children, but thats probably the only way she challenges stereotypes because men would usually agree with the fact that women should be wearing revealing and sexual clothing, which Lara Croft has obviously done so I dont think she REALLY challenges male stereotypes of women. But nonetheless she still is very different from what a man would expect from a woman.

The male gender is most likely to play this game because of how she is dressed with in the game. She is very revealing and is quite 'sexy' to some male gamers. She very adventurous and action filled so the male gender is definitely most likely to play this, whereas the feamel group might not because of how she is dressed and portrayed. This is very common with male and female gamers.

Jade (Mortal Kombat)

Despite her portrayal as a "good" character in the games, Jade appears in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation as a character who remains loyal to Shao Kahn until her death. After failing to seduce Liu Kang and leading the other warriors to an ambush (not before testing Liu Kang and leading him to the Temple of the Elder Gods), Kahn himself has her eaten and swallowed by a living gargoyle in his palace due to her alleged failure at keeping the Earth Warriors from escaping. There is also little to no indication in the movie that Jade and Kitana know each other from the past. Instead, Kitana glares at Jade when she betrays the group during a later part of the film.
